Learning English can feel… scary.
You think in your head:👉 “I know this. "But your mouth says:👉 “I am agree.”
Don’t worry. This happens to everyone.

At Cloud English Academy, we hear English mistakes every day — and we love them. Mistakes mean you are learning.
Let’s look at some common beginner mistakes (with a smile).
❌ “I Am Agree”
✅ “I Agree”
In English, agree is a verb. You don’t need am.
Think of it like this:
I am happy ✅
I am tired ✅
I agree ✅ (no am needed!)
English is strange. We know.
❌ “She Have 30 Years”
✅ “She Is 30 Years Old”
In many languages, you have years. In English, you are years old.
So:
I am 20 years old
She is 30 years old
They are 40 years old
English does not let you have your age. It only lets you be your age 😄
❌ “I No Understand”
✅ “I Don’t Understand”
English loves helper words.
For negative sentences, we usually use: do / does / don’t / doesn’t
Examples:
I don’t understand
She doesn’t know
We don’t like coffee
Bonus tip:👉 Saying “I don’t understand” is PERFECT English. Teachers love it.
❌ “How Long Time You Live Here?”
✅ “How Long Have You Lived Here?”
Yes… this one is hard.
But don’t panic.
You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be understood.
At Cloud English Academy, we teach useful English first, and grammar slowly — like adding sugar to tea, not throwing the whole bag in at once ☕
